About Sinfonian Barelytone...

Welcome to my continuing garden adventure here in the Seattle area (Zone 8b). At 37, I hope to improve the variety and quality of the food my family eats. My 5 and 2 year olds and I are excited to grow food for our family all year long and work to eat better. Along the way, I hope to learn all I can about vegetable gardening and pass along the knowledge to future generations. Enjoy your garden!

Today’s post is about my latest tour around the garden.  But after a long day of mostly nothing, I am going to jump right in to save time.
Here is where my neglected garden is hanging out these days.  The twist ties deflintely don’t hold up to winter storms, so I have stopped bothering to fix [...]

Late night at work, so short post…
Well, it’s Thursday, and the weather’s improving a bit.  Supposed to be in the mid 50s this weekend, so I thought I would talk about a to-do list.  Kinda like spring already huh?  Hehe.
Let’s see, I’ve got to clean up some of the damage that the deep freeze left [...]

Well, today was fun and productive.  It started out very early, since kids don’t understand day-light-savings.  And since I’m the one that gets up with the kids on Sundays, I didn’t get to sleep in.  But the kids and I played and had fun.  The Pumpkin Fairy came last night and traded 95% of their [...]
