About Sinfonian Barelytone...

Welcome to my continuing garden adventure here in the Seattle area (Zone 8b). At 37, I hope to improve the variety and quality of the food my family eats. My 5 and 2 year olds and I are excited to grow food for our family all year long and work to eat better. Along the way, I hope to learn all I can about vegetable gardening and pass along the knowledge to future generations. Enjoy your garden!

YIKES!  We hit a new all-time record here in the Seattle area.  Our previous record temperature was 100 hit as recently as 1994.  I personally recall playing tennis all day long in high school only to find out it hit 99, but that was when I was insane. I’m better now, hehe.
Well, today we shattered [...]

Wow, it’s been a while, and I hadn’t even noticed.  Sorry.  At least I’ve been taking pictures along the way, even if I had forgotten to post them.  See, I’m going on vacation next week (staying home), so it’s been slammed at work.  Such is life when you want to go on vacation.
Call this the [...]

Well, I swore I would have bounced back by this weekend after that long stint of hectic times that ended last Tuesday.  Sure I was sluggish all week, but I slept well, but no, today I had grand plans and slept most of the day away.  Now it’s past 10 and I’m wide awake.  Bad [...]
