About Sinfonian Barelytone...

Welcome to my continuing garden adventure here in the Seattle area (Zone 8b). At 37, I hope to improve the variety and quality of the food my family eats. My 5 and 2 year olds and I are excited to grow food for our family all year long and work to eat better. Along the way, I hope to learn all I can about vegetable gardening and pass along the knowledge to future generations. Enjoy your garden!

Dan, you’re [...]

Well, today was the first day that I went to work in the dark and came home in the dark.  At least I left work in the light, it just got dark on the bus ride home.  But today was a crisp clear fall day, meaning that tonight will be very cold indeed with no [...]

Well, DoubleD suggested that I take the day and relax.  It’s been quite a while since I did that, and it will be quite a while before I get a chance to do so again.  So today I stayed inside, played with the kids and went on errands with the family.

Well, not sure where the day went.  I feel like I got a ton accomplished, my arms are sore, my back is sore, my legs are sore, all sure signs of a fine day’s work.  Then why is this going to be such a short post with so few pics?  Wired.
Even before we were done [...]
