About Sinfonian Barelytone...

Welcome to my continuing garden adventure here in the Seattle area (Zone 8b). At 37, I hope to improve the variety and quality of the food my family eats. My 5 and 2 year olds and I are excited to grow food for our family all year long and work to eat better. Along the way, I hope to learn all I can about vegetable gardening and pass along the knowledge to future generations. Enjoy your garden!

I wanted to post my to-do list for the weekend yesterday, but the evening got away from me.  Now I’m thinking about all I’d like to do in the garden or for the garden this weekend, but alas, I am fearful that the weekend will do the same.  So I get to list my wish [...]

Wow, Noah, where’s your ark?!?  Boy is it ever coming down out there.  I heard a forecast for over 5 inches tonight.  Flooding is happening to the north and south of us.  Good thing we don’t need to go out tonight.  Yikes.
Ok, now is a good time to put in a plug for Mel’s Mix.  5 [...]

Well, I’ve been holding out on you since the weekend when I took these pictures, but EG convinced me not to pain you with one loooong post and then nothing for the rest of the week.  So, today is the day for my garden tour.
But before I do that, a reader suggested rather than starting [...]
