About Sinfonian Barelytone...

Welcome to my continuing garden adventure here in the Seattle area (Zone 8b). At 37, I hope to improve the variety and quality of the food my family eats. My 5 and 2 year olds and I are excited to grow food for our family all year long and work to eat better. Along the way, I hope to learn all I can about vegetable gardening and pass along the knowledge to future generations. Enjoy your garden!

Let me start by saying I love the comments. I proves [...]

Wow, I hope not to have too many more of these type days.  13 hours at work plus almost two hours of commuting is 15 hours.  I swore I could get done a huge project today if I worked straight through, but I spent too much time working out HOW I was going to do [...]

Man, I felt lethargic today.  The weather’s been humid and cloudy.  Ugly weather when it’s showering all day long and the kids just want to stay in side and play.  I did take a moment to go out and let the kids play so I could get some stuff done in the garden.  I planted [...]
