About Sinfonian Barelytone...

Welcome to my continuing garden adventure here in the Seattle area (Zone 8b). At 37, I hope to improve the variety and quality of the food my family eats. My 5 and 2 year olds and I are excited to grow food for our family all year long and work to eat better. Along the way, I hope to learn all I can about vegetable gardening and pass along the knowledge to future generations. Enjoy your garden!

Boy, how time flies.  I could have sworn I posted today.  I mean I took pictures of my garden, uploaded them to my file service and everything.  Silly me.  I left out a little thing like writing a post and linking the pics.  Oops.
So, yet another crisp, beautiful fall day came and went.  I could [...]

Yay! Gardengirl’s newsletter came out today.  She did an even better job of putting it together than I’d hoped!  Hehe, all I did was write the short piece and point her to where I keep the pics I post here.
For my regular readers here, sorry, I have no idea how to link up an email [...]

Well, unfortunately the end of my project just meant that folks decided I could take on more projects.  Funny how that goes.  If this keeps up, I’ll go insane, so they’re production will drop tremendously.
Anyway, I was reading my book.  Eliot Colman does like his tools.  Of course they’re all hand tools.  Power tools would [...]
